Circle C Ranch: Meet our teachers!
Ms. Deleasha
Center Director, Circle C Ranch
Prior to joining Kid Spa Austin in 2017, Deleasha worked in special education for over 6 years managing group homes and day habilitation programs. She is fluent in American Sign Language and has a young son who is obsessed with transformers and dinosaurs. Deleasha attends every UT football game and LOVES crafting!!
Ms. Courtney
Assistant Director, Circle C Ranch
Courtney grew up babysitting for family members. She says that being around children helped her decide to become a teacher. She joined Kid Spa Austin in spring of 2018 with six years of experience in licensed childcare. Courtney has a young daughter of her own who was born on Christmas Day.
Ms. Janette
Night Manager
Janette joined Kid Spa Austin in early 2017 after having interned as a first-grade assistant teacher. She is currently an accounting student at St. Edward’s University. In addition to being a straight-A student, Janette is a committed member of the Kid Spa team and still makes time for her dog “baby”, Dottie.
Ms. Ayla
Cub Lead
Ayla joined Kid Spa Austin in Summer 2017. She is well-versed in sign-language for young children and has a precious daughter who starts Kindergarten in 2018. Outside of work, Ayla enjoys crafting, hiking and listening to live music.
Ms. Hilda
Pre-K Teacher
Hilda joined Kid Spa Austin in 2015 and became our Pre-K teacher in Fall of 2016. She is currently working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children’s series is Llama Llama, and in her free time, she enjoys playing piano, dancing, and painting.
Ms. Sabrina
Early Preschool Teacher
Sabrina grew up in Italy and speaks SIX languages (Italian, English, French, Arabic, German and some Spanish). She decided to work with children because of her mother, who worked as a nanny. Sabrina moved to the U.S. four years ago and has a young daughter.
Ms. Valeria
Panda Teacher
Valerie joined the Kid Spa Team in 2017 with 4 years of experience in licensed childcare. She has worked with almost every age group from infants to 5th graders.
Ms. Cristina
Cub Teacher
Ms. Cristina has two children, one of them being our very own Ms. Hilda! Cristina has always loved children and devoted her time to teaching Sunday School and being a nanny. She loves to read and cook, and she is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Cristina is the first to comfort a new young visitor and acts as a surrogate mother to many of our younger teachers. We feel so blessed to have Cristina at our center.
Ms. Mariah
Panda Teacher
Mariah joined Kid Spa Austin in Summer of 2018 with one year of experience in licensed childcare. She has an 18-month old son and has working knowledge of sign-language and Spanish. For hobbies, Mariah enjoys photography and watching her favorite sport teams… the Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers and UT Longhorns!
Ms. Gia
Panda Teacher
Gia comes from a large family (she has 8 siblings!) and started working in childcare with us while attending high school at Bowie. As part of the “Ready, Set, Teach” program, she took coursework on child development and teaching practices. Gia also has formal experience as a mentor to 5th graders in math and science.
Ms. Suelly
Panda Teacher
Suelly graduated high school from nearby Bowie and is currently studying Pre-Law at ACC. She has always loved being around kids, and was encouraged by a friend to work at Kid Spa Austin. Gia also has a sister who also works at Kid Spa… maybe you can guess who it is!
Ms. Daisy
Cub Teacher
Daisy has a school-aged son and was a dedicated volunteer for his preschool classes. She decided to begin her career in childcare when her son was ready to start Kindergarten. Daisy has special gift for working with young children, in that she focuses on each child’s individual strengths and believes in them with all her heart.
